Apparently I was a bit overzealous while tidying up the server last week. I inadvertently removed the script that handles all of the mailing list forms on the home page. The script is back and everything appears to be working again.

We’re still having issues with the static archives being updated automatically. In the meantime, the searchable archives maintained by the good folks over at MARC are continuously up to date.

Fixed the broken NewtonTalk.net logo image and updated the admin e-mail address on all web-based list management confirmation pages. Hat tip to Matthew Reidsma for pointing out the errors.

The ancient, busticated Yahoo! Webring crud at the bottom of the page has been replaced with some equally ugly, but at least functional Webring navigation. We’ll see how that works out. Does anyone even use webrings anymore?

I have finally changed over most of the references to the previous list dad, Victor Rehorst, over to yours truly, Grant Hutchinson. I feel embarrassed that it has taken so long for me to recognize Victor’s contribution to the Newton community over the past several years and thank him for all his time and energy.
